An Architect of Jewish Life

About Me

Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, I grew up in a Reform Jewish community with a love for Jewish learning. This love followed me to college at The Ohio State University where I initially came to study architecture. However, my experiences at Hillel inspired me to become a rabbi. I realized I wanted to dedicate myself to the building blocks of Jewish life: Education, Jewish law, social justice, and prayer.

My Passions

I love meeting new people, playing Jewish geography and forming lasting relationships. When I’m not in Jewish spaces, you are likely to find me exploring new neighborhoods or enjoying a beautiful hike with my wife, Rabbi Liora Alban and my dog, Rexy. In addition, I enjoy watching my favorite sports teams, The St. Louis Cardinals and The Ohio State University Buckeyes! Looking forward to meeting you soon!
